Join the Maryland Christian Chamber of Commerce for our Legal & Legislative Lunch & Learn, hosted by Legal & Legislative Committee Chair Tony Davis and Lorna Henry, Staff Attorney with Pacific Justice Institute. 

In this inaugural session, we'll examine several significant legal cases shaping conversations around faith, free speech, and religious liberty, such as: 

• Chiles v. Salazar – A challenge to Colorado's restrictions on counseling conversations related to gender identity and sexual orientation.  
• Foote v. Ludlow – A case involving a Christian counselor's challenge to state restrictions affecting faith-based counseling practices. 

Using these cases as a starting point, we'll discuss why it is vital for Christians to remain engaged in public policy, where Christian voices and biblical values are increasingly being challenged and eradicated, and how believers can faithfully influence the marketplace, culture, and government at both the local and national levels. 

You will hear insights from Attorney Tony Davis, an emerging voice on faith, law, and public policy who has been featured on Fox 45 Baltimore, Fox 5 DC, and in The Baltimore Sun. You will also learn about the important work of Pacific Justice Institute from Lorna Henry, whose organization defends religious freedom, parental rights, and other civil liberties at no cost to those they serve.
